When signing up for a full pass to Gothenburg Queer Lindy Festival you need to choose what level that suits you best. The registration for classes is open if there are spots available, so click the links.
Registration for lindy tracks and full party passes will open the 28th of May 20:00 CET. Registration for single night party passes will open later on.
Registration for class tracks is open until the day of the festival, if it doesn’t run out.
Solidarity pricing
Gothenburg Queer Lindy Festival will use solidarity pricing for all classes. We prioritize keeping the prices relatively low in order to make this event as economically accessible as we could. However the ones of you who struggles financially will also have the possibility to choose the subsidized ticket alternative. There is also an opportunity to get a discount if you sign up as a volunteer.
For this to be possible for us as a festival, we ask all of you who have the means for it, to choose the higher price category. When you pay the higher price, you will in practice sponsor a fellow queer to join in the fun.
Full pass (including classes and parties): Standard: 1700 SEK, Sponsor: 1900 SEK. Subsidized: 1500 SEK

No previous dance experience is necessary. Party pass is included in the registration.

IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHICH LEVEL TO CHOOSE, SIGN UP WITH YOUR LEAST EXPERIENCED ROLE IN MIND.
In this track you will start out practicing your least experienced role and later go on to ELEF. This requires you to know the basics and be comfortable social dancing as a lead or a follow, or both.
Party pass is included in the registration.

You feel comfortable with both following and leading, and social dance regularly. You feel relatively fluent in both roles. You would sign up at intermediate level or higher as a lead or a follow at other festivals.

Queer Lindy and Blues Party Pass
Three days of LGBTQIA+ centric social dancing. Listen to great music by our two bands and DJs, with LGBTQIA+ and black American focus, and dance the night away with your fellow LGBTQIA+ people and allies. The scene is open for performances by queer lindy hoppers of this day. The party pass also includes access to all workshops/taster classes, as well as panel talks and discussion forums.
Registration is open until midnight on the 18th of September, or until it’s sold out. If there are no free spots you will be put on a waiting list, and accepted if one becomes available.
NOTE: Party passes are included in the fees for every class track. But if you are on the waiting list for a class track, please register for a party pass, and we will cancel the registration if you get accepted to the class track. Do send as an email if you’re accepted to both a party pass and classes.
Price: 750 SEK party pass (approx. 81 USD or 69 EUR)
If accepted as a volunteer, you will receive a discount up to 100% of the price.
